Educational inhaler technique videos

One of the biggest differences between treatment f0r asthma and other medical problems is that the majority of asthma treatment is through inhaler devices rather than tablets. There are a large number of different types of inhalers, and one person with asthma may have several different inhalers that need to be taken in different ways. Taking an inhaler in the wrong way can dramatically reduce the amount of medication that gets to the lungs, and can lead to side effects such as thrush in the mouth.

We are currently developing inhaler technique videos to teach asthma sufferers and healthcare professionals the correct way to use inhaler devices and associated equipment. If you have any requests for educational videos then let us know.
